Monica Nelsas is the Bilingual Parent Outreach Specialist for Broward County Public Schools' Bilingual/ESOL Department. With over 15 years of experience supporting newcomer families and her own experience as a Venezuelan immigrant navigating the U.S. school system, Monica is dedicated to empowering ESOL families. She now leads the International Welcome Center and Parent Outreach Office, continuing her mission to support newcomers.
