Dr. Matthew Gutierrez, Superintendent of Schools for Seguin ISD, is an experienced educational leader with experience in human resources, administration, and teaching. Dr. Gutierrez is a strong supporter of public education for all students and a strong advocate for ensuring equity. He earned his bachelor of science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Angelo State University; master of education in Educational Leadership from Schreiner University; and his doctor of education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Texas Tech University.
Andrea Jaramillo, Director of Elementary and Multilingual Education for Seguin ISD, is an experienced district administrator, instructional coach, and teacher whose career has focused on ESL, bilingual, literacy, and science. A two-time graduate of University of North Texas, Jaramillo holds degrees in bilingual and multilingual education and curriculum and instruction.
Tracee Gonzales is currently serving as an Academic Dean (K-2) at Patlan Elementary School. Her 11-year educational career has been spent in the classroom as a teacher, reading interventionist, and instructional coach, all driven by her passion for early literacy. Gonzales recently completed her master’s degree in Educational Administration at Lamar University.
Math skills are presented and assessed in fun, game-like experiences that include grocery shopping and singing with rock stars.
